Interior

The apartment on the upper floor consists of a large entrance/living room with dining area and kitchenette, a bathroom with a large shower, a double bedroom.

Downstairs is the second apartment, which also consists of a large living room with dining area and kitchenette, and a bathroom with shower, while the sleeping area is separated from the living room by a separé and houses a large double bedroom.

Both apartments can accommodate up to two more people on a single sofa bed/ottoman.

 

Exterior

The apartment on the upper floor has a large terrace with a wonderful sea view. There are shading sails and is equipped with a garden lounge and outdoor dining area.

The apartment on the lower floor has a beautiful garden with a paved area and a large flowerbed which leads to the stretch of bathing coast. Here too we find a large umbrella that guarantees the shade necessary for outdoor dining, outdoor tables and deckchairs for sunbathing.

Casa Penelope has two reserved parking spaces inside the garden and it develops on terraces that slope towards the sea, so it will be necessary to go down and climb some steps.

Surroundings

The property is located at the entrance of Castro Marina, right at the entrance of the village along the south coast, in the direction of Marittima-Andrano. Therefore, the village square can also be reached on foot along about 500 meters.

There are also two comfortable reserved parking spaces.

In the immediate vicinity there are several accesses to the sea (all free) characterized by deep sea and low cliffs; some beaches offer rental of beach umbrellas and deck chairs. The port area guarantees bathers reserved areas and delimited by buoys, while the boats take off from special central corridors. The town, for years, has been awarded the prestigious international "Blue Flag" award by the Foundation for Environmental Education. The Blue Flag is assigned to tourist and seaside resorts that meet quality criteria related to the cleanliness of beaches, bathing water, services offered and environmental management and was established in 1987. Near Castro you can visit beautiful caves ( also with guided tours by boat), famous among all the cave of the "Zinzulusa". The nearest beaches are in the area of Alimini, about 20 minutes by car.
